Web Page Upload Instructions
MAY 2009 VERSION

Ochre Star

  1.   Extension:  This assumes you are starting with a document formatted using an Office 2007 application. It should be saved with an extension like  .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, or .accdb
  2.   Support files:  There are general procedures regarding web files created by Office 2007. In particular, any file that is not a simple text file may be saved automatically — given the right setting — in a folder of support files with a machine-constructed matching name. A file saved as  trouble.htm  would thus have a folder of support files named  trouble_files
  3.   Support upload:  To upload support files for trouble.htm using FTP: You need a matching folder name e.g.  trouble_files  and then you need to copy-and-paste this folder to your website
