Mental Health Client Focus

SJCC  CIS 41 (Reg. ID 44603) is currently being offered on campus, in the Tech Center, Bascom & Moorpark. Section is offered in conjunction with the Disabled Students Program and targeted for mental health clients. All students are welcome.

San Jose City College CIS 41 Introduction to Computer Information Systems is the core prerequisite for information technology, network and website administration, as well as computer applications and other SJCC programs. It covers the basics of computing, a general acquaintance with Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), and some experience with the Internet. 3 units of community college credit. Same as other sections of CIS 41 at SJCC or CIT 10 at EVC, except for mental health client focus.

Starts Tuesday, January 29th, 2008. This is CIS 41, Reg ID 44603. Class meets at the Technology Center (Bascom & Moorpark), Room T-213.

The program has a ‘client culture’ component in addition to the core instructional material. Additional training sessions and tutoring provided by peer instructional aides. Fee waivers available for qualified low-income students; textbook support may be available for qualified applicants.
